A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF ENTERPRISE, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 79-1953 AND K.S.A. 79-5001 TO 79-5018, AS AMENDED.

Be It Ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Enterprise, Kansas, that:

Section 1: The City of Enterprise, Kansas, pursuant to power vested by Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to be exempt from the provisions of K.S.A. 79-1953 and K.S.A. 79-5001 to 79-5018, as amended, which are enactments of the legislature applicable to the City of Enterprise, Kansas, but which are not applicable uniformly to all cities.

Section 2: The provisions of K.S.A. 79-1953 and K.S.A. 79-5001 to 79-5018, and any amendments thereto, shall not apply to any taxes levied by the City of Enterprise, Kansas.
